Welcome to the Embassy Theatre Website!

The Embassy Theatre on South Main Street in Lewistown Pennsylvania, is a 1927 motion picture / vaudeville theatre, and is an excellent surviving example of theatre architecture of the 1920's.
The theatre is currently non-operational and is undergoing restoration. This website was designed to immerse you in the historical context of the theatre, as well as to show you the current progress of the theatre restoration project.
We welcome you to join us at our various events throughout the year. These events are held to help raise community awareness and necessary funding for future projects!
